Monday

Turkey tzatziki with corn salsa – combine Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourt or Jalna BioDynamic Organic Yoghourt with finely diced Lebanese cucumber, skin on. Combine corn, diced red capsicum, avocado and favourite salad dressing. Pan fry turkey fillets.  Serve turkey topped with yoghourt mix and salsa.

Tuesday

Pumpkin & kumera curry with Jasmine rice – combine cooked diced pumpkin, kumera, green peas, curry paste and Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourt. Heat over moderate heat without boiling and serve with steamed Jasmine rice.

Wednesday

garlic.jpgBaked Yoghourt And Mustard Swordfish

Serves 4

4 x 125g swordfish steaks or cutlets

Marinade:
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
1 tablespoon each yellow and black mustard seeds, coarsely crushed
1 tablespoon hot mustard
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 small green chillies, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons mustard seed oil
salt to taste
1 cup Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourt or Jalna BioDynamic Organic Yoghourt
2 tablespoons coconut cream

  • Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour over the swordfish cutlets that have been placed into a greased baking dish. Leave for 20 minutes.
  • Place the baking dish in a pre-heated, moderate 180ºC oven for approximately 20 minutes. Serve with fragrant steamed rice.

Thursday

Green chilli prawns - combine Jalna BioDynamic Organic Blueberry Yoghourt, zest and juice of one lime, chopped medium green chilli and green prawns.  Marinate for 30 minutes or overnight and chargrill or panfry.  Toss with Chinese broccoli and hokkien noodles.

Friday

Apricot chicken & rice – combine Jalna Fat Free Berry Fruit Yoghourt, squeeze lemon or lime juice and chicken breast fillets. Marinate 30 minutes. Drain and pan fry chicken. Serve with steamed rice and green beans.

Saturday

Pepper steak with eggplant yoghourt relish – combine cooked diced eggplant, Jalna Fat Free Natural Yoghourt, pinch salt, crushed garlic, Dijon mustard and a squeeze of lemon juice. Sprinkle beef steaks lightly with cracked black pepper. Char-grill steak and baby potatoes. Serve with eggplant yoghourt relish.

Sunday

Chicken tacos - combine Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourt and taco seasoning, stir into cooked chicken (or beef) and heat over low heat for 5-10 minutes so yoghourt does not Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourtseparate. Serve in tacos topped with diced avocado.
