Do you cook with yoghourt or add it to recipes? Jalna’s food consultant Brigid Treloar has some helpful tips.

- Add yoghourt to recipes last and avoid boiling. You’ll enjoy the flavour and creaminess, but not ruin the texture.
- Use Jalna Greek Style Natural or Whole Milk BioDynamic Organic Yoghourt as a substitute for cream, sour cream, mayonnaise or coconut milk and cream. Recipes will still be creamy, have a wonderful tang, but are much lower in fat.
- Use to thicken and add texture to kumera, potato or pea mash, soups and sauces.
- Jalna Greek Style Natural Yoghourt adds creaminess and extra taste to tandoori, pesto and red curry paste marinades.
It is also ideal to make a creamy salad dressing or dip – the extra tangyness is especially good with seafood or chicken.
