Jalna Yoghourt has always been made the traditional 'pot set' way, with all-natural ingredients like fresh dairy milk and ‘friendly’ aBc probiotic cultures (La-5® Lactobacillus acidophilus, BB-12® bifidobacterium, Lc-431® Lactobacillus Casei), plus real fruit puree in our fruit varieties.

Each Jalna Yoghourt is made fresh and set in its own tub. In fact it's a 'little pot of purity'.

It may take a little longer and need more careful handling, but we are proud of the unique thick, smooth texture created by our natural process. 

You can taste – and see – the pure creamy goodness in every scoop of Jalna Yoghourt. And we are committed to maintaining this natural way of making yoghourt.

Jalna Yoghourt is made from all-natural ingredients from wholefoods, with no added cane sugar or artificial sweeteners. Fructose, a natural sugar in fruit, and lactose, a natural sugar in milk, are the only sugars in Jalna dairy foods.

The delicious taste of Jalna fruit Yoghourt is created using real fruit purees and natural flavours. We use real berries or peaches or mango or apples or pineapples or grapes or bananas, so you can taste the delicious, natural flavours.

Nothing artificial

But it isn’t just what we put into Jalna dairy foods that make them true to nature, it is also what we leave out. We don't add anything artificial: no preservatives, artificial flavours or colours and no food acids or gelatine (used to achieve the ‘set’ in stirred yoghourts made by other companies. ‘Stirred’ yoghourts are made in a large vat and as it ‘sets’ it is stirred so it breaks up and can then be put into individual containers. Gelatine is usually added to make it re-set in the smaller containers, but this means it is not as thick and creamy as Jalna yoghourt.)

With Jalna Yoghourt, the probiotic cultures produce the ‘set’, creamy smoothness and texture naturally.

Living foods

All our Yoghourts are ‘living’ dairy foods, and if you keep them cold (2-4ºC) they will easily last until the use by date. And Jalna Yoghourts are also low GI, low lactose and gluten free, so enjoy some today
